Blogging can be hard
Sorry I have not written anything interesting to read on this site in the last couple of days. I was writing something last night when I had a massive Blue Screen of Death when I hit save it was very aggravating so I called it a night.
Owning a site like this can be a responsibility and a joy but ultimately it is a hobby. I write here for fun in my spare time. Tonight I spent a couple hours playing with my girlfriend's cats and I did not get home in time to come up with anything major to write about. I know that is a cop out and I suck.
I feel sorry about this and here is what I am going to do. I am going to take my laptop with me to my girlfriends place so I will not have any excuse about not having my notebook with me. I am setting a schedule of things to write about and things that I need to review and I am going to post something every day until it is done. I should set an egg timer for a half an hour each day. If I can watch TV or read a book in my spare time I am sure that I can come up with at least a half a hour to write something interesting to share with the rest of you folks here on the internet.
Lately I have been drawn to watching Lost in Translation and Dr. Strangelove. I can't really explain it but they are both very therapeutic and help me decompress. When ever I watch the news I get the impression that we are living in Dr Strangelove type times and that laughing is a coping method. Lost in Translation is ultimately about finding your place despite not being able to relate to your population.
I need to watch more zombie and ninja movies and less "news".

Well since I live in Washington state I would have to pay shipping and sales tax if I order something from Amazon.com. So I rarely order things from Amazon.com. I don't have one.

ok, but it's the easiest way for me to buy you something for your birthday -without having you to post your private mail address etc.
do you have another shop where I could get you something?

I know the feeling - I've comtemplated many a time about terminating my blog because I'm losing interest in it and the only life support is my brother and his girlfriend.
