I didn't see very many movies this year. Unfortunately King of Kong isn't coming out in Australia so my brother and I are going to have to import it.

I was going to give a top ten of my favorite films of the year, but then I realized that due to having Netflix for the majority of 2007, I really wasn't paying attention to the films release years.
As a result, I saw too many good films this year. For 2007, I'd say that Knocked Up, Letters from Iwo Jima and Hard Candy are among some of my favorites. Getting my wife to like (and subsequently really enjoy) Chopper was a boon!
I was disappointed by more than a few films too. Some examples: 28 Weeks Later, Death Proof, Inside Man and The Fountain, to name a few.
Special mention should go to Syriana- a film that I'm not afraid to admit made me feel incredibly stupid. Maybe I am, but if the director wants to gain my interest in the subject matter, then they shouldn't actively try to make the material so dense.
