Behold the Coffee Table of Gaming Goodness 2006 v2.0

This past weekend I went through my boxes of my game collection. I hooked up all my game system except my Sega Genesis (All three kinds), Sega Saturn and Retro Atari 2600s. I also left my 2 NESes, Super Famicom and big SNES in storage to save space.

I now have on my coffee table of gaming goodness the following stuff :
A Tiki mug chock full of memory cards
Gamecube w Gameboy Player
Samsung DVD Player
15 in. LCD TV
Co. Sanders Bobblehead
Two video switch boxes
Xbox Uno
The Black Dreamcast of Coolness
Nintendo-64
Generation NEX
Modded PSTwo

Nearby are my bins full of cartridges, binders full of game DVDs and CDs, and a plastic tote of my favorite controllers. My PSP, DS, GBA and Neogeo Pocket stuff is elsewhere.

The game in the SNES is Ganbare Goemon Kirakira Douchuu for Super Famicom and the Famicom game in the Generation Nex is Wai-Wai World both by Konami of Japan.

I can't play a game or watch a DVD for a few minutes before one of my cats will hop up on the couch next to me or jump up on a dresser or book shelf and watch me. They make gaming extra fun.

More like the coffee table of gaming godlyness. Is that a High Def LCD? If so, you should get the component cables for the Xbox. I did that recently, and damn, it looks sweet. Especially in 16:9 with games like Black.

I just realized how it's definitly not 16:9. Still ncie though. I love the tiki cup. I'd lose the Sanders though. I hate that guy.

Do tell us where you acquired the tiki mug from. :)

Well the TV is now HD but it is 1024X768 native and it takes VGA. So if I got an Xbox 360 I could do 1024x768 through the VGA port. It is a 3x4 aspect ratio.

I got the tiki mug at
Archie McPhee's in Seattle

And what did Co. Sanders ever do to you Shawn except doing your grandma?

He made America fat.

Oh I think that Ray Croc and farm subsidies for corn, sugar and beef have more to do with the american diet that the Co. Sanders but I do admit it to being very very bad for you. I need to finish reading Don't Eat This book by Morgan Spurlock of Super Size Me.

You're very very correct. I just like to poke fun at KFC. The Spurlock book was good, Fast Food Nation was better though.
