Do you know if Paperboy will ever be released on the Wii Virtual Console?

Has anyone else noticed the following behavior:

My Wii feels a little warm when I leave the WiiConnect24-standby mode on, so I turn it off. Now, instead of the green led staying on even when the Wii is off, I get red- so far so good. BUT, when I turn on the Wii and try to get weather forcasts, it tells me it can't because the WiiConnect24 is off, when it is in fact on- only the standby mode is off..

Anyone else notice this? Is this a glitch to be fixed later maybe?

Hey Jake,

Do you know if Banjo-Kazooie will ever be released for Virtual Console? This game is great, and after selling my N64, I really miss it! :-)

I have an old SNES and only one of my many games works. When I try and play the other games, the nintendo logo pops up in white on a black screen, then I hear the game's sound but see no picture, just a black screen.

About a month ago, BarCade in Brooklyn hosted the second annual Wiimbleton. It was a live elimination bracket event that brought out 128 gamers to play Wii Tennis! After hours and hours, they determined a winner. We put together a highlights reel chronicling the event. There is a colorful cast of characters, some really silly moments, and some intense Wii Tennis footage.
As a gaming blogger I thought this event might be interesting to you and your readership. It was a great day for the Wii, and an event that will take place next year, as well.
The champion will be at PAX in a few weeks, allowing anyone who dares to challenge his title!
The footage can be found here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q-XMQydhxgA
