Ah. Gorden Freeman, So good to see you!

Gordon FreemanPlanet Half Life just dropped the bomb and Slashdot just ran with it.

Valve's Doug Lombardi sent along the following:
Half-Life 2 will be shown at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
So all these wacky rumors should be cleared up by May 14th.

Now I have met people who work at Valve and they have been tight lip and for good reason about one of the most loved PC games of all time Half Life getting a sequel. Not much is know about Half Life 2 but this is the first time that it has been officially mentioned by Valve.
Now as a guy who has a dad who is an atomic scientist I guess I can really personally relate with Gordon Freeman and his adventure in the high tech first person Dante's Inferno that is the Black Messa Research Facility.

Does this mean Team Fortress Classic 2 will actually happen now?

I miss Half-Life TFC so much. Nothing like turning a corner and dropping a det pack is some suckers lap. :D Or sneaking around the enemy base as a medic poisoning people. Hehe. "Medic!"
