A Groovy Halloween 2003
Here is a bit of a recap of the excellent time that BBQ and I had Friday on Halloween.
First off I rode my bike to the ferry dock and proceed to put on my costume and make up in the bathroom on the Ferry. I got some weird looks as applied the red face paint. Once I added the horns people thought it was cool. The horns are foam and they are glued on with a light latex make up glue.

I finally got to BBQ's place and he was in the process of putting on his make up. Most of the hair is his real hair but the colored and facial hair is fake. Except for his beard. He is a hairy freaky guy and the werewolf idea is just to add to his already wolf-like appearance.

Here we are together at a local video store. Damn were smooth.

BBQ finds his favorite werewolf movie ever. American Werewolf in London, a true classic.

Here is me rocking out with the statue of Jimi Hendrix on Capital Hill in Seattle. I liked to be this outgoing Californian business guy devil who was trying to meet chicks and pursue evil business deals. It was a blast. BBQ had a lot of fun barking at people and howling.

We went by two costume contests at local joints but they were so overcrowded that we did not stay long. The folks who really have the best costumes are usually the drag queens. They take the holiday to a whole new level. Here are two gentlemen dressed as Tetris. A third block was to be joining them shortly. Of course there is nothing homoerotic or Freudian about boys fitting their pieces together. Nope it is good clean fun.

Sonic The Hedgehog was also in attendance. He had a blue jumpsuit on under the jacket. But it was quite chilly.

Later at a bar we met a very hot young woman dressed as Priss from Bladerunner.

BBQ met a very nice girl dressed as Little Red Riding Hood.

As well as a guy dresses as Little Red Riding Hood.

One of the cooler costumes was this nice girl dresses as Tree Beard from Lord of The Rings Two Towers. She even had little Hobbit figures on her.
We caught a midnight showing of Re-Animator at a movie house and went back to BBQs place to scrape off our makeup and watch American Werewolf in London on DVD. I love doing this on Halloween and a good time was had by all.

I got the horns at a costume supply store in Seattle over by the Space Needle off Denny Way. They are currently on top of BBQs TV and the could be cleaned off and used again. They are sort of like a suction cup but with a little bit of latex glue and you are good for the night.
