8-bit Joystick.com Changelog Ver.03

Super MarioLast week in an attempt to save disk space I used WinHTTrack to download all the images linked by pages on this site and then deleted all the images on the server and then re-uploaded the images but only put back the images that were linked and downloaded. The problem was that WinHTTrack renamed all the .php files to .html files so that the images that were in pop up images did not show up be cause the old link and Javascript was looking for a .php file. I had about three hundred and fifty affected images and I would be dammed if I was going to manually change all the .html file extensions to .php ones.

I did some searching on Download.com for a tool and I found a very spiffy and powerful piece of freeware called A.F.5 Rename your files 1.1.

It worked out great and with in a matter of moments I had all the files renamed back to .php files and everything was groovy. So I wanted to give a shout out to the makers of A.F.5 Rename your files 1.1. That is damn tight and I will defiantly keep it around. It would be handy in renaming a bunch of digital photos and mp3 files. Every serious webmaster should have a tool like this.
