I just picked up a copy of Grand Theft Auto Vice City. I guess there were plenty of copies to go around, at least at the Westlake store. It looks a lot different from GTA 3 but it feels the same. And that's a good thing. And yes I know this picture says Grand Theft Auto III, but it's an unused cover and I thought it was cool. I stopped by the tool shop and bought a meat cleaver, and then I went to the bus stop and cleaved up the people there. I was also supposed to take the rich guy's daughter somewhere but I couldn't resist the urge to cleave her too. You can also get machetes and chainsaws in this game. Jason Voorhees would be proud. I wish you could do a drive-by cleaving on the motorcycle. Of course. there is much more to this game than murdering people. You can do anything you want to, I guess my totally EVIL tendancies just made me kill everybody. Anyway, to all the Xbox owners who can't play this game, I just want to say: Ha ha ha! This game's not DOPE enough for Xbox. Go play Xtreme NFL HALO Hoops 2K3!!!

The thing about Vice City is that it could have been larger if they started to reuse the same buildings. But I don't want that. The PS2 only has 32 megs of Ram in it and there is the technically consideration as to how large they can make the islands. Just wait and see GTA 4 or GTA 5 on the PS3. Now that will be something! Also if they had a hard drive to cache to data around like the Xbox it would help. What if GTA 4 was a PS2 hard drive only game? Would you pay $80 for a HD and 50 for the game. $130 for a game would you do it?
From what I understand, Vice City is bigger. The two big islands in Vice City are supposedly bigger than the three islands in GTA3 put together. But I haven't measured so who knows.
