It's Going to be a Short Fight

It's time for a liberally-biased news flash on everyone's favorite fire-breathing giant monster, Godzilla! It turns out that in the new movie, Godzilla Final Wars, in addition to the 12 "classic" monsters making an appearance, and the new "Monster X," Godzilla will also have to face his worst enemy, the American Fraudzilla, aka "GINO." In this movie, the giant iguana will be referred to as Zilla, not only appropriately removing the word "God" from his name, but also making reference to imitation Godzilla toys around the world. Apparently, wanna-be Godzilla toys are produced under the name "Zilla" to cash in on the monster king's popularity. If Fraudzilla ever had to make a comeback, this is how I wanted it. It's a fight we've waited six years to see, though it will hardly be a fair fight. Kinda like Mike Tyson vs. Urkel. Godzilla Final Wars is in production, and scheduled to be released in Japan on December 2. This is going to be the "last" Godzilla movie ever. Just like 1968's Destroy All Monsters, 1975's Terror of Mechagodzilla, and 1995's Godzilla vs. Destroyah. This is also the 50th anniversary of the original Godzilla movie. While I was in Japan I picked up an advance ticket for the new movie, despite the fact that I won't be there. I also got a deck of Godzilla playing cards and some flyers with the purchase. Also, stay tuned because I need to review the latest G-movie, Godzilla - Mothra - Mechagodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.!! Happy birthday big G!
